GDUSA American Packaging Design Award 2018
Objective: The purpose of this project was to investigate how type and image can be paired to create rhythm and balance in an album cover promotional piece. The album I decided to recreate was "Reachin" by Digable Planets.
Concept: This redesign of a classic album presents the energy and fluidity of the jazzy hip-hop group, with spray paint and crayon scribbles, swathed with Swiss Design.
